Materials used

We have been producing and processing stone since 2002.

Natural stone is one of the oldest and most versatile materials used by man for the construction of buildings, monuments and works of art. Although the process of quarrying from quarries has evolved with the advent of new technologies, it still retains some fascinating and traditional elements.

Serizzo

Serizzo is a stone material highly valued in the world of construction and street furniture, typical of the Formazza Valley area in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (Piedmont). Often classified as a gneissic granite or a granitic gneiss, Serizzo is distinguished by characteristics of strength, compactness and aesthetic elegance. It is typically used for road curbs, but also for tables, benches, vases, and fountains.

Sardinian Granite

When one thinks of the island of Sardinia, the first images that come to mind are its spectacular coastline, crystal clear sea and wild and fascinating landscapes. However, Sardinia is also a land of rich mineral deposits and valuable natural stone, among which Sardinian granite stands out. It has a compact and resistant morphology and a medium grain that fades, on a white base, from black to gray. It can be used for both outdoor and indoor environments.

The extraction of stone from quarries is a complex and fascinating process, starting with geological analysis and ending with its transformation into semi-finished or finished products. Over the centuries, techniques have evolved considerably: from traditional methods with chisels and wedges, to the use of sophisticated machinery such as diamond wire and state-of-the-art chain saws.
