Cliff boulders

We have been producing reef boulders since 2002.

Cliff boulders are huge blocks of stone that are used to make riverbanks, channel linings and protections in marine environments. These elements, due to their mass and the inherent strength of natural stone, are able to resist wave impacts and erosion caused by flowing water, providing effective and durable protection.

The production of cliff boulders

Cliff boulders are used for the construction of embankments, seawalls or barriers along streams, or in coastal areas. These large boulders make it possible to defend the banks, from water erosion or to contain water levels within the active zone of the riverbed or in areas designated for flooding. Large quantities of material up to 1.5 meters in diameter and over three tons in weight can be provided.

Reef blocks are used to make embankments and revetments that protect waterways from erosion and limit the risk of flooding. In the marine environment, these blocks are essential for creating barriers that protect shorelines and infrastructure from the destructive effects of waves and storm surges.
Due to their stability and durability, they are also used in engineering projects for reinforcing foundations and supporting structures in erosion-prone areas.

Robust and precision cube-cut, they provide an effective and durable engineering solution to protect river and marine infrastructure. These elements, known in English as riprap blocks, combine the natural aesthetics of stone with high technical performance, providing safety and resistance against the erosive forces of water.
